Temaki Sushi, also known as the Japanese hand roll, is a delectable cone of rolled nori seaweed, wrapped around flavorful sushi rice, fresh sashimi, and vegetables. A fun departure from the traditional nigiri and maki sushi, the hand roll provides the perfect canvas for a do-it-yourself sushi experience.

Join JBF Greens for a one-hour, hands-on Hand Roll workshop guided by Owner Maiko Kyogoku and Executive Chef Emily Yuen of Bessou, NYC. Meaning “home away from home” in Japanese, Bessou serves up modern Japanese comfort foods in the heart of Manhattan’s NoHo neighborhood.

Registered attendees in NYC will have the opportunity to purchase a $32 hand roll kit directly from Bessou prior to the event, available for pick-up from the restaurant (5 Bleecker St., NYC). Instructions on how to purchase will follow.

Registration is required for this event, and is open to JBF Greens Members and the General Public. Registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have a quarantine companion who will be tuning in on the same screen as you, you only have to register once per screen. Zoom link to be provided to registered guests.
